Maison Santoline is a charming holiday home accommodating up to 10 people, with 5 bedrooms, including 2 suites, nestled in an untouched natural environment.
A private pool, heated from May to September, woods and hiking trails, offer plenty of opportunities to relax with family or friends.
The house is located in the village of Nozières, at the heart of the Monts d'Ardèche Regional Nature Park and the Doux Valley, about 6 km from the river. An ideal place for a holiday, whatever the season.
THE HOUSE
The property contains five carefully decorated bedrooms, including two suites with en-suite bathrooms and toilets. In addition, you’ll find two living spaces, a cozy reading lounge with an open fireplace and a TV room with another fireplace, a dining room, a fully equipped kitchen, and a lovely terrace overlooking the garden, perfect for outdoor dining. Outside, the property features a swimming pool (available from May to September), a pool house, and private gardens.
ACTIVITIES
Markets
There is a market every Tuesday in Lamastre.
On Saturdays, there is a local farmers' market with delicious organic and regional products.
River
At 6 km, the Doux River is a refreshing delight for swimming in the summer. There are also three natural swimming spots in different villages: Labatie-d’Andaure, Désaignes, and Lamastre.
Hikes
Nozières is the starting point for wonderful hikes in a wild and preserved natural setting.
Cycling, Mountain bikes, e-bikes
Bike rentals are available in Lamastre for exploring the Dolce Via, a family-friendly greenway. You can also rent bikes in the highlands for a change of scenery and to discover another side of the Ardèche.
Horseback riding
A riding centre in Désaignes (less than 6 km from the house) offers lessons or pony/horseback rides.
Cultural life throughout the seasons
Cultural life in the region is vibrant. In summer, you can enjoy numerous village festivals, classical music concerts and world music events. In autumn, the chestnut festival and folk dancing are highlights. Lamastre cinema also offers an excellent selection of current films.
